What is MCO Visa Card?
MCO Visa card is a debit card offered by Crypto.com that lets its customers spend their cryptocurrencies in their everyday purchases. Besides, the MCO card also offers various rewards and benefits ranging from lounge access to subscription rebates to Spotify and Netflix. The card was first available in the US and Asia only, but they have announced their expansion to Europe and Canada recently. At the time of writing, MCO Visa Card supports cryptos including BTC, ETH, LTC, XRP, MCO, BAT, BNB, TUSD and ENJ; And their supported fiat currencies are GBP, HKD, EUR, JPY, SGD and AUD.
MCO Card Tiers
All MCO cards are metal, and they come in different tiers which requires customers to stake a certain amount of MCO Tokens ranging from 50 to 50k MCOs. The more you stake the more perks and benefits you will get from their partners.
One worth-mentioning note is that apart from their card service, Crypto.com has built an elaborate ecosystem for customers to fully-utilise their MCO tokens. Their services include investment, crypto lending and loaning, and most recently their own crypto exchange.
How do I apply for an MCO Visa Card?
Simply go to Crypto.com and register. With this link you can get $50 worth of MCO additionally once you finish the sign-up process within a day. You will then need to download their mobile app and finish the Know-Your-Customer (KYC) process. As stated on their website all MCO token holders will enjoy no fees at all when using their cards, provided that customers have purchased and staked the tokens for a minimum of six months. MCO tokens can be purchased directly in-app with your conventional credit cards or bank transfer via SEPA/SWIFT. The tokens can also be purchased on other crypto exchange, including Binance and Bittrex. You can deposit MCO tokens into their Crypto.com wallet after you purchase from the exchange.
After the six-month staking period, customers are free to unlock and trade their tokens. When the MCO cards are ready to ship, users will be prompted to update the app and stake MCO, if they have not already.

Is the MCO Card safe and secure enough?
Just like any other traditional debit cards, you have the same level of security of any other visa cards. You can also have extra control over your card in the Crypto.com app where you can freeze/unfreeze/enable/disable your card and contactless payment in case the card has gone missing.
