How to buy and use Autheo (THEO) on its native network

Autheo is a proof-of-stake Layer-1 blockchain. It uses THEO as its native token and the only asset for paying gas fees. The network combines a Cosmos SDK consensus layer with an execution environment derived from Ethermint.

Verified routes to get THEO

We have verified several routes to acquire THEO.

Centralized options include MEXC, which has a 0 trading fee and requires KYC. Other centralized routes are De¹ and Uniswap V3 (Robinhood).

Decentralized routes on the Base network include hydrex and uniswap.

What the native network does

The network provides decentralized compute and storage, as well as AI inference services. It also supports general smart contract functions. The chain uses Cosmos chain identifier autheo_2127-1 and EVM chain identifier 2127. Block times are approximately five seconds.

Validation is managed by a set of 399 Sovereign validator node licenses. These licenses are represented on-chain as NFTs. If you stake THEO, the unbonding period is about 21 days.

Wallet, transfer, and network-fee checks

Autheo implements a full EVM. This means standard tools like MetaMask and Hardhat work with its JSON-RPC endpoints. A single keypair controls both Cosmos and EVM transactions. This allows accounts to use both Bech32 and hexadecimal address formats.

For those using the Base network, the token address is 0xebe516a20238F79dc20b07ead6768e08891Ed309. You can use the official explorer to check addresses and transactions.

Self-custody and withdrawal risks

Deposit and withdrawal support is not verified for the listed routes. You should check the specific exchange before transferring funds.

There are risks when moving THEO. Using a lookalike contract address or the wrong network can lead to loss of funds. MEXC has specific banned countries, including the US and Canada.

Always verify the contract address through official sources before any transfer.

Sources and methodology

Routes are sourced from verified market-pair rows in our database. Web research and CMC news provide background and risk context. Information from CoinMarketCap pages is treated as low-confidence context. Live market values are omitted because they change frequently.
