Datachain Foundation (DC) uses the FAT token on its own native network, Datachain Rope. This network is a public, EVM-compatible, post-quantum Layer 1 smartchain. Users who want to hold or use FAT should ensure they are interacting with the correct chain to avoid loss of funds.
The following exchanges have verified market pairs for FAT. All listed routes use the FAT/USDT pair.
Datachain Rope operates differently than traditional block-based ledgers. It replaces the standard block and chain terminology with knots, strings, and cords.
In this system, every entity, such as a wallet or a smart contract, owns its own sovereign micro-ledger called a string. Events on that string are recorded as individually addressable knots. This structure allows for cryptographic tombstoning through the rope_untieKnot function, which enables the erasure of specific event entries to satisfy GDPR Article 17 requirements.
The network uses Testimony Consensus. Knot witnesses anchor knots to the federation cord approximately every 4.2 seconds. The network also uses hybrid post-quantum signatures, including Ed25519 and Dilithium3 for signing, and X25519 and Kyber768 for key exchange.
Anchor-knot rewards are distributed as follows:
The native network for FAT is Datachain Rope, which uses chainId 271828. Users can verify addresses, transactions, and network status using the official explorer.
Our database does not show FAT as a token on other platforms. You must verify which withdrawal network your exchange supports before attempting a transfer. You can find more technical details in the official documentation or inspect the source code.
Deposit and withdrawal support for the listed exchanges is not verified. You should check the exchange interface for current support before depositing funds.
